Dr. Jada Hong grew up in Spruce Grove, Alberta, and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2015. She is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care, with a strong focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of eye disease. Dr. Hong’s favourite part of her work is building genuine, long-term relationships with her patients and supporting their eye health at every stage of life.
She has participated in numerous eye care mission trips through organizations such as OneSight, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), and Canadian Vision Care. These experiences have allowed her to give back to underserved communities in locations including Maskwacîs, Romania, Thailand, and Malawi.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hong enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She also loves staying active on her Peloton and getting outdoors with her kids.
